Technology Innovation Studio (TINS) is a next-generation innovation firm based in Boston, USA. Located in Kendall Square, widely regarded as the most innovative square mile in the world, TINS leverages its strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Boston ecosystem, specifically institutions such as Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Fundamental to the TINS model is the use of physical space to bring together business leaders, scientists, entrepreneurs, investors, experts, and policymakers regularly to explore and implement cutting-edge tools, methods, and models in innovation.
By forming interest groups around specific areas, we work to manufacture serendipitous interactions between a diverse set of stakeholders in specific verticals, and do this through highly curated events and programming. Connections made and ideas generated through these fluid interactive models are applied in real world settings through strategic and operational consulting, or developed through an innovation lab and technology commercialization division that leverages on our entrepreneurial experience. Through our venture arm, we also participate in and accelerate this system dynamics model of innovation by injecting capital for specific opportunities and where appropriate, directly or through our partners and collaborators.
Our belief is that the strengths of physical proximity and high quality networking and impactful programing, when managed and operated by technology entrepreneurs, leads to both value creation and value capture, with non-linear outcomes. We are excited about our work in this space, and in our ability to harness its potential, and transfer our knowledge to our partners, collaborators and clients, who are primarily among the public sector and large corporations.
Kendall Square is one of the most innovative and vibrant areas in the world, driving advancements in fields like biotechnology, artificial intelligence, robotics, and more.
