The “Technology Innovation Studio: TINS" is a physical space that brings together business leaders, scientists and researchers, serial entrepreneurs, angel/VC investors, industry experts, corporate innovation teams and also policy experts to explore and apply tools, methods and models in innovation.
Anchored at the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) in Kendall Square, widely described as the most innovative square mile on the planet, the curated network developed by TINS in conjunction with high quality programming creates a fertile ecosystem for stakeholder interactions, and opportunities for consulting, company creation, and investments.
INNOVATION CONCIERGE
The highly experienced and well networked innovation concierge team at TINS assists individuals, companies and organizations engage with the stakeholders in the Kendall Square innovation ecosystem.
This includes assisting in matters such as search and evaluation, identification of novel technologies to license and commercialize, conducting market research and customer discovery, and facilitating collaboration initiatives within the local ecosystem including academic research institutions such as MIT and Harvard.
The TINS team assists international companies set up their presence in Massachusetts by making available reputable and affordable service providers that include legal professionals, banks and accountants. In the case of start-ups, the team also helps prepare for meetings with US based investors, and make relevant introductions to angels, venture capital firms, and corporate investment teams. TINS has also established a mechanism to provide fractional business development services to companies, and in select cases functions as a distribution partner to companies that are expanding their sales efforts in the US.

TINS conducts a variety of events for our partners and clients.
The venue and event services has capacities ranging from 25-300 people.
The TINS team also customizes programming and networking events by hosting external speakers to create an engaging experience open to the wider innovation community.
We were delighted to host Professor Bill Aulet, the Ethernet Inventors Professor of the Practice of Entrepreneurship & Managing Director of The Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship with us for a fireside chat.
The discussion was moderated by Rhie Lim as part of her new channel, Kendall On Air.

Mid-career executives in any industry who are able to spend a minimum of 2 weeks in Boston.

The Biotech Leadership Program is designed for emerging biotech founders and CEOs to learn first-hand from successful leaders who have built, operated and exited their biotech companies - all within the Cambridge-Boston ecosystem.
Who Can Apply?
The program is meant for first time founders and CEOs in the early stages of their entrepreneurial journey and is actively engaged in building a biotech company. The applicants are ideally be preparing to raise institutional funding in the next 6 to 12 months and will need to submit two letters of recommendation. The organizing team will review the applications and select the candidates for each cohort based on the above criteria.

Venturer Virtual RounDtable Series

The product in development is designed for patients to leverage the advances in AI and combine them with a physician’s inputs - the applications range from answering basic questions to triaging hospital admissions.

TINS forms "Quantum Interest Group" in Kendall Square
This group discuss and exchange ideas about applications of quantum technology in different sectors. Our first-session on the potential applications of quantum technology in drug discovery was moderated by William Chin featuring a panel of experts that included Vincent Ling, Chris Mullaly, David Almeida Cardoso and Johannes Galatsanos. In attendance were an invited group of scientists from MIT and elsewhere, representatives from big pharma, entrepreneurs, investors and also consular representatives from regions and countries that are making significant investments into quantum technology.
